working on my new buddy buckets
i purchased a set of buddy buckets from a board member a couple weeks ago and its time to get working on the new upolstery. i pulled the old covers off and the backs wernt too bad but the bottoms were less than perfect. i purchased some high density foam locally but i dont think its going to work. i called a local upolstery shop and they are going to get me some prices on some foam that is better suited for a person my size. i am covering the seats in slate grey tweed and a dark grey vinyl. here is some pics i will post more as i get some more done. mike

Re: working on my new buddy buckets
only one of mine folded , it was a pretty simple fab to make both of them fold, the hole was already there just cut the weld loose and make one little bracket out of strap metal...just an idea, i wanted mine to both fold, here is a pic of the 06 jeep grand cherokee cup holder i added, not trying to hyjack your thread just sharing some ideas

Re: working on my new buddy buckets
cool, thanks for sharing... your mom should go into business.. set up a booth at carlisle and take orders. I just bought a set of PUI covers, if they suck I might pay her to make a set for me...
