New addition 72 C20

I picked this up Saturday from bobvilla67 who got it from shaneschevy. I had new duals installed yesterday and it sounds a lot better. Have a lifter/ rocker arm that is ticking hopefully it just needs some adjustment. I also picked up a 1972,402,T400 complete from breather to oil pan minus a/c brackets but lost a set of buddy buckets in the deal.

Re: New addition 72 C20

now that is just plain beautiful. just needs a mild resto. the seat looks like all it needs is a little needlework to fix that rip. just some spit and polish! the truck even has the "short arm" tripod mirrors that my dad's 72 burb had!

After pulling the driver side manifold and replacing all 3 studs and installing the duals I removed the driver side valve cover tonight and hope that a adjustment will fix my lifter/rocker noise. I was thinking it would replace my 69 as my daily but am not sure at this point.

Yep! IMO, the look of a heavy duy 3/4 ton pickup is one of the coolest. Here is one of my favorite photos. This is a base model (black rubber windshield)custom camper but has the chrome bumper, caps and RV mirror options.Wheels are 16.5". May have plenty of other options on the SPID.

Re: New addition 72 C20

optional tool box on the side, optional engine, bright hub caps, it's a leaf spring truck too.
