Guys, I have a 65 truck that has a 70 rear end in it that I am restoring. Evidently it didn't have the right brass block on it to start with, cause the block is square and the hole on the tab on the rear axle tube is round. I have a block off of a 63 rear end and it comes closer to fitting the tab, but not quite. I guess I could grind the hole to make it fit, but my questions are:
What brake hose should I order to use with a 65 frame and 70 rear end (with a 63 brass junction block)???? Or does anyone sell the brass junction block for the 70 rear end?

On my '72 the brass block is part of the flex hose from the frame to the rear differential.

So the metal clip connects to the hose then, correct?

The square block bolts to the axle housing and the round end clips onto the hanger on the frame cross member.
This is the '72 longhorn attachment.
The rear brake lines connect to the two holes in the square block.

Thank you for the picture. Yeah, that is definitely different from what I have. The block is a separate piece that the axle lines screw into and then the hose somehow screws into it as well. It is clipped to the axle housing by a tab with a round hole in it. I took pictures during disassembly, just not real good ones.

My '69 3/4 ton is like that. Might try a WTB on the Parts Board.

Here's what it actually looked like when I got it back together. I am going to have to enlarge the hole on the frame for this 1970 hose to fit.
