Re: msd caps and rotors

Many of the MSD Distributor Caps and Rotors are made from a DuPont material called Rynite. It has all the right properties for long life. Their designs are the best that I have seen with vanes to reduce crossfire and high quality brass contacts. If you have other high performance ignition components (high output coil, CD box, high output module), they are a great compliment. AS you can tell, I am a fan of their products.

Re: msd caps and rotors

I've had Accel Caps and rotors on all my motors before, and they always seemed "OK". I now have an MSD "Pro Billet" distributor on the 455, and I must say it is the nicest distributor I've seen. The cap is made out of top notch material, and a soild chunk at that. Very impressed.

Re: msd caps and rotors

You should buy one for an old Ferrari. last one was $384.00 each and that was back in 1990. There is generally a reason why things are less expensive
