Brothers Gen III engine mount kit

Has anyone used this kit? I just got my Brothers catalog in and saw this. I`m wanting to put a 5.3L in my truck and just trying to figure out what mounts I need.

Re: Brothers Gen III engine mount kit

That is what I used on my Gen III 4.8 install, worked great. I used the tubular perches, is that what your talking about? Or are you looking at the cradle type? Either one would work, depends on $.

the cradle type is what is shown. It doesnt give any details as to if you can mix and match. Which would be better? Tubular or cradle?

not really sure, only used the tubular. i was after price. either one fits pretty much the same. I did the trans mount too. From what I hear, the cradle type is supposedly better if your going to use the LS ac compressor, but I didnt and mine fits. Maybe someone who used the cradle will chime in.
