New here from Nothwest Alabama
Hello everyone,
I have been looking at this forum for quite some time now. I am not new to old Chevy trucks, but I am new to the 60-66 body style. I have always wanted one and finally came across one about a month ago. The one I got is a 66' short fleet with a big back window. I plan on doing a complete rebuild on it one day when I have the funds to. For now though I will just drive the s#@t out of it. When I do get ready o build it I am sure I will be full of questions for you guys. I will try to post a pic. Last edited by Short Circuit; 04-01-2010 at 01:26 PM. |

As for the truck it has a 350/350. It runs real good. The quadrajunk chokes it down a little when you step on it, but other than that I can't complain. My plans are to paint it read and white...put some chrome torque thrusts on it and lower it...redo the interior to mostly stock...and build the s#$t outta the motor. You know going for the retro rod look. |

Re: New here from Nothwest Alabama
Thanks...the truck is not in quit as good of shape as looks in the pic. It needs floor pans on both sides....maybe even to the point of needing a whole new floor. I'll just have to wait til I get into it to see. Needs a driver side fender...someone patched the one on there and didn't line it all up right. Not really that noticible....but it aint right and it aint stayin that way.
