Lets see them!!

Alright gas milage be damned, I want a big block so here we go post up pictures of ower trucks running a big block. Also if the 79 came with a big block what color would it be?

I don't have any x-rated (underhood) pics of my truck yet . But it's a 1980 GMC 2500 with a 454 /th400 . It's My daily driver ,gas mileage isn"t something I worry about lol .

Here is my old 84 1/2 ton 4wd. 454 speed 205, 35s with 4.10s. It actually didn't get that bad of mileage if you drove it normal. Speedo didn't work for a long time so couldn't get accurate anyways. Miss the truck already.

Im pretty sure 79 would have been blue. My 82 dually 454 single cab has the original unmolested 454 and its blue. I have 4-11 gears and highway driving around 55-65 I get an average of 12mpg.

not trying to steal any thunder here but--- how did you all get your exhaust pipes hooked to your header collectors( drivers side) whithout hitting the tranny crossmember?

If I remember correctly, buicks were also in the front.
