Shaving Stake Pockets
Is there a place where I can get the plates necessary to shave the stake pockets on my '86.

All you need is some flat sheet metal. If your going to weld it your self I take tape and place it over the hole and use a pincel to shade or trace the edge. Then stick it to you metal and cut it out with a pair of snips. May have the proper gauge at Lowes. There has to be some where that sells sheetmetal there. To many tractors for there not to be a metal shop close.

i went to look at a SWB bed today. it was another POS. i cant find one anywhere around here

I've talked to this guy because I was going to convert mine to swb and then changed my mind. If you do buy this truck I am interested in the power window parts and possibly the column if tight.
