4.3 swap to a newer 4.3 swap

Ok I have a wrecked 2000 with a 4.3. I just picked up a 94 SS S10 with a "bad motor". Can I pull the one out of the 2000 and swap it into the 94? Can I swap the heads and intake? That supposed to be the problem with the 94. Any help would help.
Thanks
Juan

Re: 4.3 swap to a newer 4.3 swap

externally they are identical aside from the water pump bypass hole. this is a can of worms I doubt you want to open.

is the 94 actually bad? I ask this because many time I have seen the alt locked up and the engine wont turn over without removing the belt.
