Master Cylinder and PB Install

Is this correctly installed? I just do not remember it pitching down so much? Thanks.

Re: Master Cylinder and PB Install

I beleive the bracket to be installed correctly because the bolt to the right by the square headed pin is on a raised tab that goes over the bracket for the steering column. And the pins for the rods lineup to the holes in the bracket. Also i tried about 10 different combinations before i settled on this. But that does not make it right.

What did that come off of? Its hard to see in the picture but the bracket looks kind of funny to me. It looks correct but it seems diffent to me. Maybe just my eyes

Re: Master Cylinder and PB Install

In the picture the firewall is perpendicular to horizontal. The surface that the booster is attached to is 10 degrees to the firewall and the master cylinder is 10 degrees off horizontal. Not sure of what year the parts are from, bought the truck with the conversion to power brakes. Also the truclk is a 67 c20. The parts are finger tight. Can someone else measure the angle of the master cylinder to the firewall? Is 10 degrees too much? Looks like if so i can cut the bracket and angle it up. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
