72 GMC grille signal light lens
Those rivets or what ever they are that hold the lens to the housing how do the come out without damaging the housing? I'm using clear lens so I'm not saving the lens. I have new lens, screws, gasket and the round things that look to be some kind rivet. What holds the round things in?

Re: 72 GMC grille signal light lens
As I recall, I just used a drill to drill off the heads of the rivets and then the lense came right off.

Re: 72 GMC grille signal light lens
I ran a 5mm tap right through the lens into the housing & installed stainless phillips screws so that it could be opened up again easily if I ever had to.
