Can I get some pics from you guys that lowered your truck w/o air bags?

I'm picking up a 54 3100 from my friend in trade for my 240Z and have got to have it lowered. I was looking at various drop axle kits, leaf spring kits, etc and have noticed they advertise about a 5-6" drop at most in the rear, and about 3" in the front. I was curious if I could get some pics from you guys who used those kits (and which kit you used) so I could see how that much of a drop looks on the trucks. I'd love to have an air bag system to lower it exactly as much as I want but the money may not be in the cards, so I want to check out some of the more affordable drop systems.

I don't recall the guy's name, but this truck is owned by a member here so hopefully he'll chime in. If I recall correctly it is not on bags. This thing is perfect in every single way in my opinion, and I don't even like yellow!

If I could get that low of a stance with drop axles and a flip kit in the back or whatever I'd be all over that like stink on a turd. If only I had more money and could afford bags or an IFS

Check out droppedaxle.com, Sid has some great shots on there and is THE man when dealing with dropping an axle.

Oh never looked to see if he had pics of his axles being used. He has some pretty slick drops outta the cheaper style suspension. I dig that orangeish red 54 Chevy a few vehicles down from the top. Looks real low and think I could get into that. Thanks for the tip on the photos on there.

HOT DOG! Hope he doesn't mind me linking to one of his pics, but that's the perfect stance for me. No expense of bags or Mustang II suspension, I didn't know drop axles and blocks could get a truck that low.

I do believe the link is to GuthrieSmith's truck. He's on the HAMB with that thing. Not sure if he's here or not.
