Trouble finding wheels studs

I thought Autozone would have wheel studs for my 5 lug 71 C10. Wrong! They were the right size thread and length but the the area that gets pressed into the axel was too small. The counter guy even looked up a bunch of other trucks older and newer and couldnt find any that were the same.

I might try NAPA next.

Anyone else have this trouble? Anyone know where to get them?

Thanks!

Re: Trouble finding wheels studs

I've always found what I needed at Carquest. They had a nice catalog with actual pictures and sizes the last time I was in.

Re: Trouble finding wheels studs

When I had my 48 Dodge, I needed wheel studs with left hand threads...these guys had exactly what I needed, and they were 40 cents per stud....

Measure the hole and PM me. I probably have the correct size left over from my own dance with finding the correct studs.
