Re: 67 OEM door latch pic

In or out of the door, the part the handle goes on or the part with the wheel in it, the inside or outside of the door part?

I just got done pulling them out of my 72... can take pics if you tell me which part and what angle...

Re: 67 OEM door latch pic

Hopefully these work for what you need, they're a 72 GMC though...

I also have an inside shot, I didn't take this piece off, only the control and rods...

Re: 67 OEM door latch pic

As far as I can recall... they're identical to those on my '68. You could check some parts books, see if there are different part numbers for them. Do the pics look like the parts you have? Sorry for the last one, came out darker than I thought

Won't know till I get home

I can't believe how well the doors shut 40 years ago....new cars are junk.
Love the double soft click click.....

Re: 67 OEM door latch pic

I'm going to be scraping and blasting the inside of the door and blasting the outside when I get to that point (will have access when I cut the bottom off...) once I do, I plan to put the adhesive roofing seam all on the inside of the door. Old trick someone mentioned here too a while back. Gives it a nice thunk sound instead of the 'dropped pan' clank of bare sheet metal.
