Gauge Layout, your suggestions...

Just trying to get some feedback on the layout for the gauges, what do you all like what do you hate? Thanks.

Personally, I like my gauges on the drivers side.

Are you making your circle templates the hole size for the gauges or the actual out diameter of the bezel? Make sure it's the outer diameter as if you go by the cut hole size, you can run into clearance issues when you mount them.

Ask me how I know... Almost screwed myself on another project because of that.

looks to me like your going to have so many gauges rhat they'll be so small you wont b seeing much of anything

I'd also take the steering wheel into account, If you can't see them while driving then there's no point... How about the regular setup with the dash pad that has three pods inserted?

What gauges are you going to install? Electric or mechanical? If electric you may want to consider the placement with EMI as a potential problem. All that means is, an electrical signal from one gauge may interfere with the performance of another one. Even a "hot" wire passing behind a sensitive gauge could cause it to give a false reading.
