MN Longhorn gravel shields - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Trying to mount the gravel shields that go behind the rear tires below the wheel wells on a longhorn. Does the two bolt holes that are about six inches apart mount to the crossmember or to the wood bed. The shields have a bracket mounted to these two holes that extends about two inches. These holes don't seem to line up with anything.

Don,
not sure if the wood floor is different than the metal floor. but if i remember correctly the piece with the 2 bolt holts get bolted to the crossmember, then the remaining to the fender and fender bottom of the bedside.

Thanks for the information. I got them installed. Longhorns have a two inch extention that goes between the gravel shield and the bed. Now I need two extention and a passenger side gravel shield for my other Longhorn. I some how wound up two driver side shields.
