erratic speedometer
I am having the problem with my speedometer not being steady. I have replaced the cable and greased it. I have also lubed the speedometer, it got better. I tried the speedo from an 80 truck and it reads steady. what else should I do.

inside of your speedometer where the needle is attached, is a type of a cup that goes over some over stuff, you will need to clean it with some 00 steelwool. I'm sure the technical wording I used might be confussing, but I dont know the names of the stuff. In other words tear it apart and clean it up.
