Greetings from the Mile High City

My name is Justin. I just joined the site and think it is sweet how we can all offer some kind if advice and experience on our Chevy Trucks! My daily driver is a 2000 Chevy Dually Crew Cab witch is used for picking up the parts for my projects. I am currently working on my 68 Chevy Shortwide that I have owned since High School. I also have two other projects I am working on witch is a 68 Chevy 3 Door Suburban and a 35 Dodge Coupe. Thanks and Greetings from Denver, Colorado

Re: Greetings from the Mile High City

Wow, Thanks for the Welcome everybody! Yes i do have the hood for the Truck. The Hood is Sweet and contains 8 rows of 200 Louvers. We were just Rodding around without it last Summer! I am the Second owner of the Shortwide and was in Great Condition when my Dad bought it for me when I was 16. I am now 34! Heres whats up with the Shortwide; 350 Small Block mated to a M22 Rockcrusher 4 Speed hooked up to a 72 Suburban Posi Trac with 3:73 Gears. 87 Chevy front crossmember with Disc Brakes 3"Bell Tech Dropped Spindles and 2" Eibach Coils. 4 KYB GR2 lowered shocks with ECE shock relocator kit, 4"dropped coils, Home Fabricated 2" lowering block and 4 degree angle shims to correct Pinion Angle. Could not find these angle shims anywhere so I Fabricated my own! I am in process of installing the Rear gas tank today, and should have some more pics later of the install of Tank and rear angle shims. The Suburan I have owned for 12 years and is an Original 327 Small Block with a 4 speed (soon to be a 454 with Borg and Warner Super T10 4 Speed) 3 door with Tailgate style Rear Doors. Runs and drives Great.
