Cab mounts

So im in the need of some Cab mounts. I am either thinking of LMC with their Poly mount kit, only because its cheaper then the O.E Black rubber kit. Although I did see that Brothers has the O.E rubber kit for a Very good price. Not sure which way to go. I need the Rad. Core mounts too.

SO Poly or O.E ??

Definitely poly IMO. They don't ride any different than the worn out OE mounts I replaced and they tightened up the body roll and flex a lot.

Regarding the squeaking poly mounts, mine are Energy Suspension and they have zero squeak.

We also sell the Energy Suspension mounts. They do not come with the bolts for the cab or rad support bushings though so you would have to make a visit to the hardware store to get them.

Poly mounts do not have any give in them and your chassis flexes a lot. Use poly mounts and your cab will flex right along with the chassis. We have had 3 trucks come in here that have had dammage done to the cab because of the poly mounts. I would do what you want, but my advise is don't use them. WES

I would not use Poly on body mounts. The frame is meant to be part of the suspension system and is meant to flex. That is why it is tempered like a spring. If you use poly instead of rubber on the body mounts you are defeating the vibration isolation and the flex that the rubber mounts are meant to provide. On the other hand, if your vehicle is part of a circle track racing circuit, then by all means use poly.
