Start of a project, need some opinions
I have an 84 Blazer with plenty of issues, picked it up for $1000 and am slowly going through it. I just bought a set of old 16.5 steelies and a set of the military 37's. The steelies are a bit rusty, and i was thinking of sandblasting them and painting them but i cant decide what direction to take.
Should i sand them and paint them and if so which color? Should i just leave them rusty and roll them to match the rest of the truck? Give me some opinions guys, thats why i joined this place was to find guys with similar interests that could help me think this out, no one i know around here has any vision for old trucks, i need help! This is the truck on 33's, i have the 37's waiting to go but wanted to wait until i blasted them to mount the tires... Last edited by smithmachine; 04-08-2010 at 09:00 AM. Re: Start of a project, need some opinions
There is a retread plant in my hometown that retreads those tires. I ran them on an '80 Jimmy I had with no problems. I would paint them either white or black, since you are there already.

Re: Start of a project, need some opinions
I would go with white and try to run some caps.
