Question Cruise controll is it aftermarket or factory?

im getting a 1970 Chevrolet C/20 with a 350 and 350th with cruise controll is this factory or not? is there a way to tell? would it say something on the spid about cruise or not? is it rare?
i have pics but it wont let me upload them

Yes cruise was a factory option, and unless it was added, it should be listed in the SPID. A '70 would have had a plain chrome turn signal lever with a button on the end, and the vacuum pod was mounted behind the engine on the firewall. In '71 the switch was mounted under the dash, and the vacuum pod moved to the left inner fender if I'm not mistaken. Pretty rare. Here are some pics of a factory setup. (The top turn signal lever is correct.)

My dad's 1970 Chevy CST/10 has factory cruise control listed on the SPID. The blinker lever has the cruise control button in the end of it.

My 1972 GMC has a dealer added cruise control. The cruise control button is clipped on to the stock blinker lever. I assumed it was a dealer option since it is not listed on my SPID.

yes... it 100% should be on the spid. My longhorn is a factory cruise control truck.
I should try and get that working one day.
