Best price on Mcgaughys drop spindles? (71-72)

The best price I could find is $257 shipped via timssuspensiononline.com. I've seen people post prices around $40 less than that for these spindles. Where are you guys finding them?

BTW, I can get belltech for $280 shipped but I have heard that lately their quality has gone down. Any truth to that?

I've put on somewhere over 100 set of Belltech spindles. Never, ever, any complaint about their quality.

Thats a good price. We are $245.00 for mcgaughys but not shipped. If someone is selling them for $217 i say good luck to them

I'll give anyone who wants it a chance to convince me that the Belltechs are worth the extra $30. You have until tomorrow! I will say this, they look pretty... but painted black and behind a wheel, all I'm concerned about is geometry and fit when lowered.

It's been a while since I used Belltech, but have never had an issue. I have found that DJM is great bang for the buck. Have you considered using them? Several of our forum vendors have them at a great price.

I have not found DJM for as low a price as the others mentioned, at least not for 71-72 but I did search for them. Their webpage indicates that the only go as far back as '73. I already have new stock balljoints and rod ends.

Now that I look again, the belltechs are $280 for 3" drop. Could that 1/2" be worth $30? Then again, I'll be on 15" steelies for a while and I heard that 3" spindles will rub on 15" rims.

Time's up! Pulling the trigger on the McGaughys. I haven't read that anyone has had any problems with them so I think it's my safest bet. I really wish there was a local place that sold varieties of spindles so that I could actually compare.

Mcgaughys used to make them in a 3" drop but they dropped them and went to 2.1/2" for that exact reason. You will be happy with them. We sell the DJM, Belltechs as well as Mcgaughys but I prefer the latter personally. Thats what I use. You may still have some problems with the wheel rubbing on the 2.1/2" depending on wheel

I didn't see the 71-72 spindles (63176) on your site, I only saw the ones that require 73- upper and tie-rods.

Just like many of the parts we sell we just have not had time to list them all. It takes like at least one hour to put a part with one picture with a basic description. We just plug away at it. We don't have a large group of employees. their are only 5 of us. We are trying to get them on.

That sounds painful, you guys should look into better webstore software! Or, at least just hire some high school kid at minimum wage

I checked before, that guy doesn't have the 71-72 spindles listed on his site. Only later model, it seems.

Well, I already pulled the trigger on these for $250 shipped, but thanks. I couldn't access your website from work for some reason, btw. Not that I browse the net at work or anything... Better software costs money and therefore prices go up.Its not the software and school kids. Well we do that now at times. Not dependable enough
