Re: My New 1967
looking good. how much you pay? looks like you need a few parts: a bumper, side mirror and maybe, maybe think about painting the brake master cylinder black.
welcome to the site. Matt

Re: My New 1967
I gave $4000 for it, just swapped it from 6 to 5 lug, the drum didn't want to stop very well. Going to order the front bumper next week, waiting on my speedo and fuel gauge to come in. Really need the fuel guage with the 454.

Re: My New 1967
Looks like the truck has a lot of work into it already. You have any specs on that 454?

Re: My New 1967
Looks like you got a nice truck. Is that a big back window?

Re: My New 1967
Yes it does have a big back window. No specs on the 454, the PO said it came out of a 87 suburban, it is just a stock motor with intake and carb, but it runs pretty well.

Re: My New 1967
I think it is a nice truck, I have been looking for about six months, and this is the cleanest one I could find for the right price. I have found very little rust, a little in the cab by passenger side seatbelt bolt and a some on the inner fender under the battery.

Re: My New 1967
I going to put a 4/6 drop with some 22's and start playing with the motor a little bit. I put dynomat and a new carpet kit in the other day, looks very nice. It doesn't need much work to be a very nice truck. Oh yeah it is staying flat black, trying to find someone to do some hand painted striping on it.

If you were any closer I would sell you my chrome bumper that has the built in driving lights in it. As I am going to roll pans front and back. But good luck! Very nice looking truck.
