Re: Regions & Chapters
It seems like most of the Cali guys are down south, so I look but usually don't find much for my area... I'm between Sac and Tahoe. Ugh! I don't wanna be between a Sac and a 'hoe!

Re: Regions & Chapters
Fortunatley I got my vote in before the poll closes. I visit it often. Usually a little more during the summer time when we have gatherings.

Re: Regions & Chapters
You didn't have a choice for: Yes, I check it out every once in a while.
Oh, and yes. The SoCal section has nothing going on, hence why I only check it out every once in a while. But then I also understand that California is a BIG STATE, something that most people do not understand... California "Region/Chapters" should be more County focused IMO, just because of the hassle factor to get from one county to the other. SoCal could be either San Diego, Inland Empire, Victorville, Santa Clarita, or Ventura. (bout a 400 mile drive, depending what fwy you take).

Pennsylvania side is dead, so I frequent the Maryland side. Special K keeps it going pretty good.

Re: Regions & Chapters
Love the regional and state sections of the board as it's a great way to keep in touch with the locals and spread the word about various shows, meets, and everything in between.
Check out the Missouri and Midwest Sections of the board...

Re: Regions & Chapters
I check the midwest and Iowa section often trying to keep up with the members in my area. I wish the Iowa chapter was more active as we have a lot of members but they are to busy to be on much I guess.

Re: Regions & Chapters
I check out our areas, Washington and Northwest every day. The NW folks are pretty good about checking in. Ill admit though I didnt use to check it out much. But its become a habit, especially since Ive met so many people in person. I think when you personally know people the interest is higher.

Re: Regions & Chapters
Like CG and Sillyoldman, I check our regional area (actually two;
Washington and Northwest) because of the regional gatherings. It helps with ours that folks post new threads often... usually just to chat with their neighbors or look for help or local parts. For those of you disappointed in your regionals inactivity, start posting there. If you don't get noticed, PM your pals and have them spread the word. You'll find it's nice to have a quiet place to just BS around with your buddies, share pics, etc. |

Re: Regions & Chapters
After seeing the link, a VERY good idea!
I think we forget we are not just having a private conversation here but, instead, we are on the world wide web. Thanks for the protection we wouldn't (or at least I wouldn't) have thought about! |

Re: Regions & Chapters
kevs, in the future if you have questions, you should PM or post in the site feedback area. The staff can assist you that way. Unfortunately with the site, we are unable to hunt and peck through all the areas for misposts
Anyway good post, shows how many folks do indeed use that area! Thanks! And moved to site feedback |
