No stock vents?? Possible?

Ive been pondering the idea of changing everything inside my cab (no ac, 1974, no vents what so ever.) I just have floor and defrost.

Giving i change my dash and benzel over, can i also switch the inside box to add vents?

OOORRR do ac equipt trucks (vents for dash) not interchange /w/ no ac (no vents in dash)

are the cabs different? I know the ac cabs are different, but will it totallly not work??

Re: No stock vents?? Possible?

With the dash pad removed along with the gauge cluster trim, you'll find open areas where the AC vents would go. You'll need cluster trim for an AC truck and the right side dash trim for an AC truck. Of course the firewall components will need to be changed as well.

Converting to AC can certainly be accomplished. I'm thinking about a Vintage Air system for mine later this year. The Vintage Air systems are compact and designed to operate on today's freon.

This is the way I would go. Unless you have the time and ability to do a cab swap or install all the components, I would run an aftermarket system.
