Rack & Pinion
I'm shopping rack and pinion for my dropmember... Found what I consider to be a good deal at Checkers. Does it matter what gear I go with?? There were two options, Ford gear or TRW, does that affect fitment at all? Any help much appreciated...

Re: Rack & Pinion
79-93 Mustang will be the proper mounting dimensions (15.5" spread on the mounts). As for the difference between the TRW or Ford gear... can't confirm or deny any differences. If you want to buy a quality rack for a great deal look at this one on Summit SUM-770603. It's a Unisteer part#8010020 (retail $322) that Summit private labels and sells for $240.
