"Elm Streets' Nightmare" - 67 SWB
Im not new to the site but today i felt inspired to do a "BUILD THREAD". I bought this truck March '08. Ever since i drove it home & had the engine rebuilt it's been a NIGHTMARE to keep it rollin.(hence the name) I guess it comes with the territory. I actually gave up on it a few times, had it for sale here & there. I suddenly realize that "by the time i finish replace'n parts everything will be NEW".
Since i bought it,i've been rebuild'n all mechanics engine, transmission & driveline. Finally i feel comfortabe to move on to the cosmetic aspect of the build. Here's my TECH LIST Engine: rebuilt 327 with a mild cam Tranny: overhauled 350 ...upgrade'n to a built 700r4 or T 56 Suspension: Stock ...upgrade'n to ECE 4/6 with air ride n ther rear(bike hauln) Interior: Stock ...upgrade'n to modern lowback buckets & a custom Wheels: 6 lug rallye's ...upgrade'n to Bonspeed's,Budnik's,Boyd's or ?'s Sheetmetal: banged up Stock ...upgrade'n to MISC(whoever has what i need)
