Hi guys Im new to the site and I have read so interesting problems.I have one of my own.I am restoring an 82 shorty and im having a hell of a time refitting my front fenders.Dont get me wrong I have removed and replaced at least 50 front clips but I have never run in to a problem like this.Let me explain.I am useing a rad support from a 83,its the same isnt it.I am useing the same mounts except for blasting them clean and painting them.when I put the fenders on the rad support is two inches to low.HOW CAN THIS BE.Its driving me nuts PLEASE if you have any ideas let me know it would begratefully appreciated. Thanks RICK.

Re: confused
Moving this to the main forum.
Are you absolutely sure that the rubber mounts are in place between the rad support and the frame? That would make about 2" of difference. Pictures would help us a lot. Pics of the rad support-to-frame area, and the rad support-to-fender areas also. A close up of each, and one that captures the entire rad support with the fenders on from the front.
