Re: New shoes for the 1970 Blazer!
Looks great. I'm a sucker for painted steel wheels. I need to find a set of 6 lug 15x8's for mine and do the same thing.

Re: New shoes for the 1970 Blazer!
Had those rims for over 4 years waiting for this time. Two of them were NOS with old kelsey stickers still on them. One of them did not balance well so we will check it a little later. I have 2 more of these wheels but they have a little bump in them that needs to be hammered out.

All it needs now is a white top to set the wheels off even more.

Re: New shoes for the 1970 Blazer!
It is #504 medium olive green, a 1970 truck color from GM. My paint supply guy had to mix it however from a color swatch and ashtray. I think he did a great job with it. It was a Dupont product, all I know.

Re: New shoes for the 1970 Blazer!
I will do more pics when top is on and will do a complete bunch of pics when done... I agree with you about the aluminum wheels. I will likely have the seats back and be waiting for the carpet!

Re: New shoes for the 1970 Blazer!
Sorry to say, I'm not a fan of the steel wheels, but those tires are great and that paint job is Awesome!! The tires really fit the wells good and fill it out.
Excellent job all around and keep up the great pics!
