Re: front end specs ?

I found this a long time ago but can't remember where. Someone else might have better info:

UPPER BALL JOINT NUT

Upper ball joint nut torque specification is 50 lb-ft, tighten to align cotter pin if necessary but don't exceed 90 lb-ft.
1/2 ton trucks: 60 lb-ft (81 Nm) plus the additional torque to align the cotter pin. Do not exceed 90 lb-ft (122 Nm) and never back the nut off to align the pin.

UPPER BALL JOINT NUT ATTACHMENT NUTS

45 lb-ft

LOWER BALL JOINT NUT

Lower ball joint nut torque specification is 90 lb-ft, tighten to align cotter pin if necessary but don't exceed 130 lb-ft.
1/2 ton trucks: Install the ball stud nut and tighten to 80-100 lb-ft (108-136 Nm) plus the additional torque to align the cotter pin. Do not exceed 130 lb-ft (176 Nm) and never back the nut off to align the pin.

SPINDLE NUT

15 lb-ft then back the nut off to align the castle nut slots with the cotter pin hole.

UPPER CONTROL ARM BOLTS

Tighten the nuts to 80 lb-ft (108 Nm).
1/2 ton trucks: Tighten the nuts to (95 Nm).

LOWER CONTROL ARM BOLTS

1/2 ton trucks: Tighten the nuts to 85 lb-ft. (115 Nm)
