I have a stupid question....

Is there a trick to installing front control arm bump stops? I bought some Energy Suspension pull-thru's (3-9101G) and (3-9103G) to replace the torn and cracked factory control arm bump stops and for the life of me I can't get them in. It's almost like the pull-thru tab is too short. Is there a certain way to pull them through? I noticed on Silver's build thread that the tabs on his bump stops are a little longer. (By the way, that's my dream build right there.)

Anyway, what bump stops are you all using for your front control arms?

Re: I have a stupid question....

I tried that and also popped my lips twice, tilted my head to the right, closed one eye, and stuck my tongue out a bit and that STILL didn't work.

I just thought of something, though. If I'm going to be dropping it 5 (or 6)/7, do I even need the bump stops? I've read in different posts that people cut off the entire bump stop perch. Are either the upper or lower bump stops used with a 5 (or 6)/7 drop?
