Cool parts fpr my 1965

well i have a 1965 gmc im working on
and im thinking of trading my 1993 sub for a 1500 short bed
just wondering if its a good idea or should i look for a older suburban
1960-1973 or take the truck and us it as parts for my 65
just wondering and wanting some info

What year 1500 short bed? if it's newer than '87, it is of little use for parts other than engine, trans, the seat and the brake booster will work with my bracket.. What parts are you needing for your '65?

i guess i can get the truck and swap that for 80 model
the truck is 93

A 71-72 1/2 Ton GMC or Chevy would be a perfect canidate for a five lug and disc brake up front swap. Bolt on fit.

They aren't any better or easier than the '73-'87 front suspensions. In fact I believe parts for the '73-'87's are a little less expensive.

There is a complete 71-72 disk brake suspension at the pick n pull in Newark Ca on Mowry, its a 1/2 ton 5 lug set up, complete as of sunday afternoon

well i was talking to another guy near me looking for truck. It just so happens he has
a front end clip for a 1980 truck
can someone get me link to a good tut ....
i have so any items that need to be install i might have to start a project thread here
oh and im realy thankful for everyones info.
