IMO there's more than wheels wrong with that truck, but to each his own.

i saw this truck at the Temecula rod run and i thought the same thing about the wheels. like he had them left over from a 90"s street rod. the rest of the truck is very nice

No doubt a high dollar truck, yet I am confused by the 1980's inspired wheels - tires - and shotgun air intake?
to each their own............ Last edited by lakeroadster; 04-20-2010 at 10:51 PM. |

.....and a hot rod shifter in a street rod interior. Nice truck with a weird twist of styles IMO.

Re: Classic Trucks Magazine - 1960/1963 Chevrolet C-10 - "Second Chance"
I think what we have here is a design/build that was implemented in the late 80's/early 90's. this is exactly what this guy wanted... by the time he could afford to build and finish it the world had left him and his project behind.
in 1990 this would have been exactly what I would have wanted... 20 years later, my tastes have changed. I was happy to see a 60-66 featured in the mag. Any press for us is good press! bring on the 60-66's!!

Re: Classic Trucks Magazine - 1960/1963 Chevrolet C-10 - "Second Chance"
I saw this truck at a Scottsdale show last year and let me tell you, this is a clean truck, although the tires could have been taller, I think the thing is flawless. The wheels are Billet Specialties 2008 models. As for all you haters and by looking at what some of you are sporting, I think there is some of you boys who are a little jealous. Also he won best of show at that show of over 500 trucks. WOW!!!
