Re: Scotch Bright pads?????
Never seen green, just red and gray. Red is courser and gray is more for blend panels. Only green ones I've seen is in the kitchen for scouring dishes with, they are an actual scouring pad I thought with some sort of cleaner in them.

What's the 3m part # on these green pads? I'm curious now. I've seen whites, reds, two different grays, but never a green. Well I have seen green, but they were not meant for the auto world.

Re: Scotch Bright pads?????
Green ones
It’s the original synthetic scouring pad and a performance pacesetter. Use it for everyday cleaning of most cooking utensils and equipment. It replaces steel wool and metal sponges and won’t leave metal slivers in hands or food. Non-rusting and resilient. No wonder I've never seen them, I don't work as a dishwasher.

Re: Scotch Bright pads?????
I picked up a pack of 10 at my hardware store a while back and they fit real nice on my palm sander and I use them to scuff my epoxy befire highbuild and it works great, but never here anyone talking about them. Not sure but I am guess they may be cheaper than the reds. just seeing what you guys use

Re: Scotch Bright pads?????
I generally use reds to hand scuff anything that I'm about to prime or paint. If I need something more abrasive than the reds, I'm usually reaching for sandpaper.
