i found a nice original set of maroon manual door panels for my project. the problem is that my truck has power windows and locks.

can the manual panels be converted? is the regulator hole in the right place?

my first 87 was manual windows. I converted them to electric and I used a suburban 4 switch switch.... looked fine when i was done... the other side I cant remember if i used a single our double....

Yes they can, very easy fix. The window crank holes on the manuel door panels line up perfectly with the power window switch holes of the power door panels.

Even New GM door panels for 81-91 Chevy/GMC come with the window crank holes only, at least the ones i got did. The power switches have to be cut out.

I took a piece of cardboard and made a template from my old door panels and then transfered it to the new door panels. All you have to do is cut and trim the new holes out. I cut the holes out with a dremel and xacto knives.

Hope this helps, It's a real simple project. I tried to explain it the best i could. If you need pics of the template and how i made it, just let me know and i'll post some pics.
