Front end torque

OK i tried search but every thread had a different number. i was taught to snug up the castle nuts then turn them till the cotter pin line up. but apparently that's wrong. i also have a pb drop member with 68 ball joints. so i guess all i need is ball joint torque and i guess tighten the hell out of the tie rods since there a 5/8 bolt?

Re: Front end torque

The factory assembly manual says tighten past 40-60 ft/lbs to the next slot to allow insertion of the cotter key for the ball joints. Tie rod ends get torqued 25-35 ft/lbs plus the next slot to allow insertion of the cotter key.
