New member needs help!!!
Hey guys, I bought a nice pair of bucket seats off ebay for my 71. I feel like I got a great deal at 202.50 and he charged me 100.00 to ship them. Well, he sends me an email saying he is having trouble shipping them now. That seemed awfully cheap for ups shipping on something that big. Can you guys give me any help on who to use for shipping from Oregon to Dallas. I already bought new seat covers for them now (I know I jumped the gun on that, my stupid fault). I don't feel like its my problem he misquoted shipping, but I really want the seats. Just don't want to pay another 100.00 in shipping on them.

Re: New member needs help!!!
Hello and Welcome!
You can have a look at Greyhound (Yes the bus company)... I had a pair of '72 doors shipped from AZ to GA. I just had to pick them up at the local terminal. I want to think the shipping was about $130. Shawn Last edited by Zeke's Garage; 04-23-2010 at 07:34 AM. Reason: Forgot to roll out the welcome wagon. |

Re: New member needs help!!!
i believe if he quoted a price including shipping he is responsible.you cant change price after an item sells on ebay. i would contact ebay. however if he doesnt send your seats the worst you can do is leave negative feedback.

Re: New member needs help!!!
I agree neba. I am just trying to find a way that I can get the seats. He doesn't have anything to lose except for getting negative feedback. I have been looking for a set of buckets that I can afford for a while now. I am suppose to call him today and try to work shipping out. Greyhound quotes 93.00 for 100 pounds. Thanks for that info Zeke. Hopefully this will resolve our issue.

Thanks French. The 25.00 to join this forum is worth its weight in gold. They are in Medford. I am still hoping for a positive outcome after I talk to him today.
