Introduction!!!
Well I've been getting information from this site for a while now so let me start out by saying thanks to everyone for the help you've already given me. My dad and I are finally kicking it into gear and going to restore my grandpa's truck. (Now Mine... But still his... you know what I mean)
It is a 1973 Chevy 3/4 ton 4WD longbed with a 454 and 700 tranny. I'm going to start a build thread once I get some more time to upload pictures and what not... but until then, here are a few teasers! If you're wondering about the crazy paint situation going on, that is a result of a couple hour long fight with aircraft stripper. When we were done the word sandblast came to mind. HAHA Bed off with old wood and slats removed. We have separation!! Ironically, my dad and I aren't in any of these pictures... we'll have to stop being so camera shy |
