Re: WTB 68 Grill/Hood Latch Assembly

I have the hood latch assy. in this ad http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...d.php?t=381556 and I should have the hood part and hardware. I will check tonight. Do you need the support that goes from the latch down to the front panel also? Thanks

I need every thing that is required to properly fit onto a 68 grill and bolt to the hood. Good solid metal and hardware... Price with shipping to 32084.

By hood piece do you mean the part that latches to the hood release and is bolted to the underside of the hood? If so I can throw that in.

Only hardware required are standard bolts, if you want used ones I have those too. The only thing I may not have is where the brace bolts to the grill. IIRC this is a 3/8th or 5/16th headed bolt and a clip is required on the grill for it to attach too. That clip is similar to those in the fenders that the headlight bezels screws go thru, only larger. I'll see if I can locate something if you are interested.

Re: WTB 68 Grill/Hood Latch Assembly

If it does not work out with CPNE, I have this off of a 1967/68 for $35.00 including shipping (with out brace). I should also have the brace, if you need it I could also go (same as CPNE) $35.00 PLUS the shipping charges for everything. Thanks, Todd

If you can get original hardware that bolts top latch assy to grill and the part that latches to the hood release with OE bolts. Give me total with shipping and go from there. Thanks

Re: WTB 68 Grill/Hood Latch Assembly

If you can give me until Saturday I can get all these items rounded up. We had 10 inches of snow today but its going to be in the 70's by Saturday. I have a grill that probably has the smaller bolt I described, but it is buried right now.

If not, then go for the second offer, no hard feelings here.
