Thanks for letting me know. I would like something off a low mileage truck in excellent condition with no rust or broken latches. It will go on my frame off restored truck.

How can you tell if it was factory? I picked up one today but did not really check the condition as it was one of many parts.

Re: WTB Mint Factory Aluminum Rear Slider window

Hey John, this Les in St. Louis,Mo. I have a couple of factory sliders up in my garage attic. They have been taken apart and I was going to see how they would buff out but never got around to it. They don't really rust because they are aluminum, the aluminum will get a hazey look to it, the only part that will rust is the brackets and screws that holds them together. The factory sliders have pretty distinct features: they are not welded in the lower corners they screwed together. The latch was still available a few years ago from GM because they used that latch for many years. I can take some pictures if your interested in seeing them.

Re: WTB Mint Factory Aluminum Rear Slider window

I have found a very nice piece from Mel at Classic Bowties. Thanks anyway.

I might be interested in another for a project I have been trying to buy. I will know this weekend.

I believe I have a factory slider still on my truck that is coming off in pretty nice condition. Just need to confirm that it is factory. What is the best way to confirm?

They were all silver aluminum. No black anodized.
