Ball joint question..NEED help!
I am looking into some drop spindles, they are for an 88 C3500 and I want to put them on my '79 crewcab C30 dually. I called the manufacturer and they said the difference is the upper ball joint. Does anyone know where I can get the technical info/specs on the two ball joints?(88 C3500 vs 79 C30 dually) Thanks

Oiy... the manufacturer of the spindle doesn't know?? I would think they would need the specs just to be able to make them. If not, NAPA might be able to help you.

Re: Ball joint question..NEED help!
If you are saying '88 new body ('88-00), vs '79 then I don't think that I would take the chance.
But if it is for a square body, I would think they are the same?

Re: Ball joint question..NEED help!
Maybe they think that your '88 is the newer style, like an '88 half ton? I would look the balljoints on a parts store website and see if they are the same part number.
