Need help, '74 C-60 factory repro. rubber floor mat - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

New in this 73-87 section My question may not be permissable, if so, mods, please delete.
My neighbor has a 1974, C-60 Chevy farm truck. He needs a new rubber floor mat. Can't find one. He says pickup floormats are plentiful, but they have a high tranny hump. The C-60 has a lower tranny hump.
Can any of you guys lead us to a source to buy one for a C-60?

As an alternative he could us the roll on bed liner for the floor, someone on here was thinking about it for a rough truck of theirs instead of carpet.

Original/reproduction rubber floor mat is what he wants. He bought the truck new, used it only during grain harvest, and now is kinda' a keepsake truck. Low miles, I haven't looked to see how many. Parked in shed the rest of the year.
Any leads for a place to buy, or ideas are helpful.

i haven't seen anyone re-poping these, try junkyards preferably a medium duty truck junkyard. if not I'd say just paint the floor with no mats, factory did it didn't they?

What about the front section for a 2wd suburban? I had an 82 1/2 2wd suburban that was a stripper model with rubber floor crank windows etc. It seemed to have a much flatter front section than my 1/2 ton truck and 3/4 ton suburban.

Best bet is to look at high and low hump cabs and see which would be easier to tailor. I haven't heard aof anyone reproducing these. I've heard treadmill belt works....

Reproduction floor mats are not available, but you should be able to find one that fits pretty close. I had the same problem.
