Adjustment in doors

Having door issues, the door is to close at the top of windshield. I have new body mounts and shimmed as factory had them. does bolt torque affect the door gap very much or do I rethink shimming?

How is the gap at the b pillar - any space to shift them back a bit?

Any body work done on this truck yet?

Body work complete, and its painted. Is there adjustment in the body hinge to tip back at top.

Is the top bolted down at the windsheild and along the bed sides? Did that line up perfect? If not your A pillar could be off a little. There is very little support for the A pillar other than the front clip and the cab mounts which need to be shimmed. I can't tell but is the front clip mounted? If not I would go ahead and mount the front clip to give the A pillar stability, with the top onbolted from the windsheild frame. Then shim to get the right door gaps.

Take the shims out in the front body mounts; under your feet, this allows the cowl to relax forward and the door latches hold the doors in place as they are. This should increase windshield pillar to vent window gap.

Raindoc, everything still together, figuresd out the fender would have to come off to adjust door.

Tony, I'll start with removing the shims. I'll let you guys know what worked.
