Re: White Interiors

You might have better luck searching under parchment interior. It should pull up quite a few threads on interior color. Hope this helps. Trevor

Re: White Interiors

When the person who put my mutt together got to the interior they used the stuff out of a '68 golden anniversary truck. By the time I got it the seat cover was hatched. My dad knew the guy that repaired boo-boos that occurred on the St. Paul Ford plant assembly line. On the side he did interiors for people like me. Long story short I brought him white vinyl and some green material that I though worked with my medium metallic green paint. So not quite all white but some white:

I can tell you that finding parchment interior pieces that are nice is very difficult...

Re: White Interiors

Mrein3 -do you remember where you got the green fabric from? It looks like what is on my Burb's front seat and I'd like to find a match forthe second seat when I am ready to get that done.

Is that an original steering wheel and dash pad? If not where did you get them?

That is great. I am sorry to hijack the thread, but do you have any advise for obtaining a lasting painted finish on the steering wheel? My original interior is parchment with the sandalwood steering wheel and dash pad, and I have despaired of finding replacements.

Not sure which paint is the best if the paint starts to come off after a few years just repaint it again. I would think a clear coat over it would make it last longer.

Re: White Interiors

Not quite done but almost there. Went to install my door panels today and noticed Brothers had sent two left arm rests instead of one of each. Go figure, if it's not one thing it's another!
