Safest Way To transport cab?
Thanks Guys for all your help with the cam! Next question how do you guys transport a cab and what is the safest way to do so?

I see alot of guys just slideing them into the backs of trucks or trailers to transport..

I would think lying it on its back would be the most stable, but I have seen them sitting upright too.

Put in on a flat bed. I would not need to tilt it just lay down a pallet or make one and tie it down. You really don't even need the pallet just set it down and tie it down Navy rigging of course

I fabricated some stands that fit to the cab mount holes and lag bolted them to some 2x6’s to transport mine on a flatbed with it strapped down. You can see them on my build thread (post #203) http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=318544&page=9
