Dual Diaphragm Boosters

Hey guys,
I have an '87 K5 Blazer with a big block and I am wanting to run a dual diaphragm booster to gain a little more clearance around the valve cover, does anyone make a kit for this or who makes a universal booster?

Thanks

Re: Dual Diaphragm Boosters

80's and 90's S10 is supposed to have a dual diaphragm. CaptFab or something like that on the board sells conversion brackets.

Re: Dual Diaphragm Boosters

The '82-'87 S10's had dual diaphram boosters, but you would have to do some work to get one to mount up to your Blazer since the two mount a little differently. Have you considered going with a hydroboost? You'd get better braking and lots of valve cover clearance. Plus you could use a factory hydroboost set up that would be a bolt on.

Re: Dual Diaphragm Boosters

The only problem with the factory hydro-boost is the cost...I have tried rebuilt hydro's and they all seem to fail around 3 months but the GM new hydro is big money this is why I am looking at a dual diaphragm booster...
