NP 203 Crossmember pics?

ok i know ive been asking alot of questions but you guys keep saving me. i got my tranny and t case in my pickup, go to put the crossmember i have in and somethings not right. nothing seems to line up. it has the drop on the passenger side for the clearence for my front driveshaft but its just not right. does anyone on here have a 4x4 with a 203 and have a picture of theyre crossmember so i know what im looking for? if it helps its a 1973 203 behind a th350 in an 86 pickup. any help would be appreciated. thanks again guys yall have been life savers for me

My 203 crossmembers are the flat style, no funny shapes. My old '77 had the factory skid plate, but used the same crossmember, except there was two of them.

I think I remember reading there is a slight difference in frame width between the 203 model years and the 80's models. Should work though with some hole drilling.

Hi Stacked78,

Here's a pic of the TH350/NP203 in dad's 77



You can see part of the forward crossmember in this pic. My 77 plow truck has the same thing. They're the flat style crossmembers like Andy described. Both these trucks have the skid plates like Andy mentioned too with a second (identical) crossmember mounted about a foot back to support the rear edge of the plate.

ok does anyone have any idea or know anyone or anywhere i can get one? cause i hit my local wreckin yard and called every guy i could think of and none of them have anything i can use? though i have aquired 2 crossmembers that have huge drops on the passenger side but they dont want to cooperate with what im doing
