71 stepside shortbed value

hello there, i was just curious if anyone out there could point me in the right direction about the value of the bed that I have. It is a perfect condition, no dents, stepside shortbed. This bed has never been hit or dinged. It came off my grandpa's truck (56,000 miles) after the frontend of the truck was hit and the insurance company said the value to fix the truck outweighed the value of the truck. Anyways back to the bed - the truck was always kept in the garage and the wood has never "seen the elements". It currently has a 8 month old Gaylords tonneau cover on it. If anyone is knowledgeable about the value, I would greatly appreciate the help. A lot of people have approched me to sell it and some have offered as much as 1200 dollars for it. But with as much interest in it, I was curious if the value was a lot higher and someone was trying to "cash in" on my lack of knowledge. Thank you for your help.

I would be interested also. But remember, Mar-k beds are new for close to that 1200.00 price someone offered you.
Also its still going to need a lil bit of work. Not tring to scare you into a cheep sell, but did not want you to price yourself out of a sale.
