Supercharging and nitrous

Hey, I have a stock 5.7 in my 1990 silverado 2wd half ton, and I was wondering if anyone has tried supercharging one of these engines, or even given it a little shot of juice. How much boost do you think one of these would handle? Do you think you would be safe with more than a 75 shot, or not even do that? I dont know what the horsepower rating is on this engine, but it feels like about 68 horsepower is making it to the rear wheels, it kinda sucks. Just wondering. Oh, wait, its not stock. I am the proud owner of a K&N airfilter, it added 8 tenths to my times...

Blue Pig, for everything and anything to do with TBI motors, go to www.thirdgen.org and read their TBI and Aftermarket boards. Those Camaro/Firebird guys are heavy into modifying the tbi motors. I've been a member there for a couple of years and picked up the little bit of knowledge I have from those guys.
