Poly Blazer Tank - Has anyone painted one?

I bought a used poly blazer tank for my truck. It's used, so I wanted to clean it up and was wondering if anyone has good results with painting one. What did you use?

Probably not a good idea, But I've never done myself. I would go to your local paint store and ask them what they recommend.

It won't take paint and hold it worth a crap. I wouldn't waste your time.

It's ABS plastic basicly and then if you clean it real good that vynil spray paint would work!
I have a new poly tank if anyone needs one,for $75.00 plus shipping!
I need to post it for sale on the parts board but someone will want pic.s and I'm having trouble downloading now!
anyway good luck!

Thanks for the tip. Wow that's a good deal on a new tank. That's what I paid for the used one!

since you know that it's made of ABS, go to the paint store and find out what you need to do to prep ABS for paint and take the guessing out of the equation. good luck.
